The Chandler Center offers a number of opportunities for professional development and recognition for students who are involved in service during their time at SNHU.
Recognition of Service
How are volunteer hours tracked?
Students who participate in community service through the Chandler Center, such as through service-learning or an alternative break trip, have their hours tracked automatically by one of our staff. However, volunteers hours completed with an external organization also count toward these opportunities for recognition and can be reported to us using the form linked below.
Digital Badges
The Chandler Center is thrilled to announce the launch of our new series of badges! These badges are awarded to students who complete various service projects and activities. They serve as a testament to your commitment to making a positive impact in your community while gaining valuable skills and experiences.

Currently, we have three badges: one for service-learning, service-based travel, and volunteering.

You can learn more about our badges here.
