Our Community Partners

The New Hampshire Food Bank distributes nutritious food to more than 400 partner agencies who, in turn, distribute to food pantries, homeless shelters, soup kitchens, children’s programs, senior centers and more. Families in Transition provides an array of services, including a food pantry, emergency housing, and substance use treatment. There are dozens of volunteer opportunities available, from one time commitments to longer commitments. To find out about how you can volunteer, email volunteer@fitnh.org or visit www.fitnh.org

Through Lasagna Love you can sign up to make and deliver a hot meal/lasagna to a local family in need. You can sign up to make/deliver as many or as few lasagnas a week. Some people will make one a month and others will make more than that. It’s up to you and your availability. This is a great volunteer project to do alone or with some friends. International Institute of New England offers economic, social, and educational opportunities for immigrants and refugees. Darbster Kitty partners with local animal rescue groups and shelters in South Florida to reduce overpopulation and place cats in safe homes here in New England. Blue Ocean Society for Marine Conservation seeks to to protect marine life in the Gulf of Maine through research, education and inspiring action. The Amiko Youth Program is open to all children ages 6-18. We specialize in offering after school and vacation programs to children who are newly arrived to the United States, or first generation American (born in the United States to immigrant/refugee parents).
